Friday, February 13, 2009 16:46 - Glenolden Fire Company, along with Folcroft , Sharon Hill and Clifton Heights(RIT) fire companies were dispatched to 14 N. Ridgeway Ave. for the building fire at 16:46. Engine 5 arrived on location with smoke showing and went into service with an 1 3/4". Crews made forcible entry to the building and discoved a fire on the first floor. 1st in crew quickly knocked the fire while crews from 09 and 01 performed ventilation. Fire was put under control in 10 minutes. Fire is under investigation by the CID.
