Chimney fire in Sharon HIll Wednesday, March 4, 2009  - Glenolden Fire Company was dispatched along with the Sharon Hill, Folcroft and Lansdowne Fire Company to 1110 Woodland Ave for a building fire.  Asst. Chief McCann(09-9A)  advised Tower 5 there was an active fire in the chimney and had Tower 5 ladder the building.  After laddering the building, crews opened up the exterior of the chimney and extinguished the fire.  Crews were on scene for about 60 minutes.
